What it costs

What small businesses actually pay for SEO and local listings

About $50 a month for a small business. Moz Local Preferred for one location at $30 month-to-month plus modest rank tracking. One Semrush seat alone is $139.

Every price below came off the vendor’s own pricing page in September 2026. Month-to-month rates where both are published, because most small businesses do not prepay a year. Check any of them yourself; the source is on every row.

That is the rent. Here is the other number.

$50 a month is $600 a year, and it renews every year for as long as you are in business. Nothing about it belongs to you, and the day you stop paying it disappears.

We build the same thing on hardware you own, priced at one year of what you already pay for the tools it replaces. When the payments end, they end.

Prices verified September 2026 from each vendor’s own published pricing page and shown with the source. Software pricing changes without notice, promotional rates are common, and what you actually pay depends on seats, contacts, locations and contract length.
